Cookie and storage notice

This notice lists everything the TailBridge website and apps keep on your device, why, and how long it stays. Anything that is not essential runs only if you allow it.

What we mean by cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browsers also offer other ways to keep data on your device, such as local storage. This notice covers all of them, and calls them storage.

Some storage is essential: the site or app cannot do what you asked without it. The rest is optional and needs your permission first, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the privacy laws of other countries our visitors come from.

On this website

This website sets no cookies. It keeps these settings in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them.

Optional: analytics

Count visits and pages anonymously so we can see which parts of the site help vets. Off unless you switch it on.

No analytics tool is installed on the site today. If we add one, it will run only for visitors who have switched analytics on, we will choose a tool that does not use cookies or follow you across other sites, and we will name it in this notice before it starts.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a “no” to analytics.

Other companies

The website loads nothing from other companies: its typeface, images and scripts are all served from our own site. We use no advertising networks, social media pixels or embedded videos.

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like any web server, it records the IP address and browser of each request for security, and keeps those logs for a limited time, as our privacy policy describes.

In the TailBridge apps

The clinic app keeps a working copy of the clinic’s records on each signed-in device, so the front desk and the doctor can keep working when the internet drops. It also keeps your sign-in so you do not log in on every visit. Both are essential: the app cannot work offline without them.

The working copy stays on the device until the device is signed out of TailBridge. Clinics should sign out devices that leave the clinic, such as a staff member’s phone.

The owner app, when it launches, will keep your sign-in and your pets’ records on your phone for the same reasons. Neither app uses advertising or tracking tools.

Changing your choice

Use , also at the foot of every page, to switch analytics on or off at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing, and takes effect straight away.

We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if this notice changes in a way that matters. Clearing your browser’s site data also clears your choice.

Changes to this notice

When we change what we store, we update this notice and the version and date at the top. Questions: privacy@tailbridge.in.
